We live in Michigan and have barely got any snow this winter. It’s ridiculous. We finally had a wonderful winter storm come through yesterday afternoon and evening, and we were left with beautiful large drifts and white everywhere. I LOVE IT!!
I have had a great pregnancy so far. Lots of movement by my Baby Boy. It’s so much fun to watch my tummy move and know that he’s in there growing and probably having fun just chillin’.
This week has been interesting though, as the heartburn that I just rarely got, is now in full force. It’s definitely not the worst thing ever, but ick it’s not fun either. Thank goodness for TUMS!
I’ve had one other “issue” that has been annoying for over a month now, but I’m going to spare the details. I’ll just say this, “it” will move a lot better once Baby Boy isn’t laying on it 24/7.
Baby Boy, also known as “Chuck” is going to be here before we know it. I go to my 28 week Dr. visit tomorrow!

I haven’t written in so long, I’d forgotten that I hadn’t followed up to what gender our baby is in the womb. We’re having a BOY!! We’re very excited for “Baby Boy” to come.
My sister is pregnant (due 2 1/2 weeks before me) and she’s having a girl. During the holidays, Rich started calling the two of them, Vivian and Chuck. Then he added a last name to them so they are Chuck and Vivian Fargus, he says just like an old married couple. It was a hilarious time especially when my grandparents got in on it and kept asking us how the Fargus’ were doing. What fun!

the “free” internet we were using at home is no longer working. Someone has now put security on their wireless. It’s been tough not having internet at home. When we move in 6 months we’ll be like most people and have our own wireless internet, but until then we’ll just keep doing our internet stuff at work.
Rich is so excited he can’t stand it. We have eight more days until we find out what gender our baby is (if it cooperates).
With a niece on the way, I’m not sure what to think. I don’t care either way what we have, but wow will it be amazing to know what it is!
I’m proud of myself today. I was busy working and of course thinking of other things while doing it. I had started to write down the bizillion things I need to do in the next month and feeling overwhelmed of course. I was sitting here and decided to back out of the church cookie walk that I have already signed up for. I’m not personally in charge of it and to create the 6 dozen cookies that are expected by each person would cost me at least 3 evenings of work. So….I decided this is my year to say I’m not doing it. I don’t have the time, I really don’t have the energy, and of all years, this is the year I shouldn’t be taking on projects, I should be learning to say no, and this is the time when people should understand that the most.
So I’m feeling a huge amount of relief and I’m not bothered if people say to me “hey, why aren’t you helping?” I’ll just say, I need to sleep rather than bake.
I can’t understand why I do it to myself, but I put other “projects” in front of the necessity of getting plenty of sleep. Yesterday I was sooooo exhausted, my eyes hurt. So after my 4 months-Dr. appt. I went to sleep on the couch at 8:30pm and didn’t get up until 3:30am. At 3:30am I did my “get ready for bed” routine, and then went straight to bed again. It was GREAT! I woke up early enough to get my morning walk in, which I haven’t done in a week or so because I’ve been too tired. Boy do I feel better, not great, but better after getting a nice rest. I keep trying to tell myself to get more sleep, but it doesn’t always work. It’s nice to feel the results of a nice rest.
My stomach is starting to poke out just a wee bit. I’m so excited for the process.
Rich was really cute yesterday, we were just hanging out together and he said, “I’m ready for the baby to get here.” The Daddy-to-be is VERY excited!!! And it’s fun to watch him be that way. Love to ya, Husby!
Yesterday’s pants were very tight, so I decided to wear a pair of my maternity pants today for the first time. I have other pants that I know I can still fit in, but of course since I don’t like to do laundry, they’re still in the bin.
Maternity pants are great though. So flexible and easy to maneuver in, LOVE THEM!
I still don’t really have a bump, just thicker all around, but I don’t care, I love wearing the pants so I can actually breathe!
Today, Baby Allen is wearing me out. I woke up achy and could barely stand today in church while singing. I’m worn out. Rich is complaining of possibly getting sick, so I’m hoping he’s not passing it on to me. I DON’T WANT TO BE SICK!! So…I’m going to take a nap. Nighty night.
